VINES
100 % Syrah with a yield of 60 hl/ ha Harvest is performed in mid-March. Machine harvested.
WINEMAKING
Cold maceration at 8°C for 5 days before fermentation is carried out at a controlled temperature of 25°C, with 3 pump overs per day.
TASTING NOTES
This Syrah has a lovely nose of little blackfruits and a hint of spices with typical Syrah grape aromas.
The wine is smooth and fruit driven, with a pleasant acidity giving very nice freshness. On the finish the silky tannins give a delicious texture in mouth and a pleasant after taste. Best served with a pizza or a pot-au-feu.
