100% Malbec grapes, with a yield of 45 hl/ha. The grapes are harvested by hand at the end of March into in small trays of 20 kg in order not to damage the grapes. The grapes are then meticulously sorted in order to select the best grapes for this wine.
WINEMAKING
Cold maceration takes for 5 days Before fermentation is carried out in temperature-controlled tanks at 25-27°C with 3 pump-overs per day and a period of 20-25 days of maceration. 60% is then aged in French oak for 12 months.
TASTING NOTES
Dark red colour with violets shiny tones. This is a good example of Argentina’s most representative grape showing a delicate balance between dark fruits, floral aromas and spices. Long finish with silky tannins and well-integrated oak character.
